I took my dog Noodle to my girlfriend Christiana’s dad’s house for December 22 – 25th. Before bringing her we made sure we had his approval.
Within five minutes of walking in the door Christiana was attacked by the Shih Tzu in the house, Kujo.
Not Kujo, but it looks enough like the little fucker.
Christiana's bite on her leg.
Kujo was put in his cage by his owner, Mandy, Christiana’s step sister. Within ten minutes of the bite, he was out wandering around the house again. Not the best punishment, IMO.
Over the course of the next two days, Kujo attacked Noodle several times. Each time the dogs got into a fight, they were taken and put in their cages for a while.
Fast forward to the night of Christmas Eve where we’re all sitting in the living room watching It’s A Wonderful Life.
Kujo attacked Noodle again, this time he was picked up, popped on his ass and placed in his cage.
That’s when Christmas Eve took a surreal turn for all of us.
“Oh my gosh, he’s hurt. Oh my god, his eye! His eye is out! Someone take me to the vet!”
Mandy proceeds to freak out while Rhett (Christiana’s dad) investigates the dog. Sure enough, Kujo’s eye has come out of its socket. They try to calm Mandy down reassuring her that the dog is fine and they’re going to take it to the vet.
About this time Mandy’s brother Jay comes into the living room after hearing the altercation from downstairs. He takes one look at Kujo and goes, “Ooooh..” in a very negative and “that looks painful” kind of way.
Mandy again starts freaking out.
They take Kujo to the vet and he’s now at home with his eye stitched up.
It’s still not known if Kujo will get to keep his eye, or if it will have to come out. But maybe Kujo learned that he needs to calm down and stop attacking people and other dogs because dogs like him with flat faces and smashed noses have a tendency to lose their eyes.
Karma's a bitch, ain't it Kujo?
